What do I think? I didn't honestly think the game needed changes at the moment, but I see good intentions with these changes. Demo warlocks I thought were about doing AoE damage, but maybe Blizz wants them to be more about pets and survivability; you know, like the tree used to be.
Removing Drain Mana from warlocks? Fine by me. The spell takes away mana but the mana cost of the friggin' spell just makes it like you're going in circles. You know the one time I've used that spell since, like, Burning Crusade? On a run through Stratholme and we had to stop that banshee boss from charming the 80's into killing all the lowbies, so we had to LoS pull and I just drained away her mana.
I don't see how that spell causes problems in PvP. Like what? Problems with people scratching there heads as to why the spell isn't doing anything?
I think this spell needs to be taken away, or just upgraded. Maybe make it cost a portion of your health, or give it a CD (if they upgrade it, of course). I hope that this doesn't mean they're taking away the utility from the warlock class. It's what makes us so fun, we have so many ways to manage a situation, but you can't just pop the spell and be done. You have to know what you're doing for it to do anything. But still, it feels like most of these spells are in dire need of an upgrade if we're going to be using them.
YES. Shadow and Flame procs from Incinerate now! A spell that is actually a vital part of my rotation. A bit late in the coming, really. What with Aff becoming more viable (in my opinion) for PvE, and I've made that my all-purpose PvE spec, I suppose it will only affect my Destro spec which has now become my PvP spec. Last I checked, Destro was dominating, and I have experience with the play-style already, soooo yeah.
I'm not sure how they want to re-design improved soul fire, but I figure with what I've seen so far, it's all good.
