I see this more and more and for the life of me can't understand it. On my server (Azjol-Nerub) there are a lot of players (mainly alliance) that don't loot corpses. I just can't understand the reason not to. It's free gold, free gear (sometimes even a worlddrop) and trash you can sell for even more gold. Why on earth would you not take the 0.5s it requires to autoloot a corpse?
Can anyone explain this to me?
It can't be because it takes too long, it's 0.5s with autoloot enabled..
I've also noticed a lot of people skipping loot when doing instances recently, but I personally always stop to pick over the corpses - hey, gold always comes in handy when levelling! But I do also find that my bags get full very quickly. I'm usually carrying around two sets of gear, various quest items, food, profession mats etc. I find I need to drop by at a vendor or the Auction House at least once every hour to free up some space.
If I'm out and about with no room in my bags and I loot something of value, I'll destroy something cheap to be able to fit it in. Yeah, it takes a couple of seconds, but I think it's worth it :-) |
