During a Q&A session in Blizzcon. The devs did say that southshore would be destroyed by the flooding and deathwing not by the Horde.
I realize I probably am slow on what was going on with the test realm, but giving southshore to the horde was really pretty lame. Especially since it was the Apothecary Putress that was on the insane quest with the super blight, and Putress was executed by Wrynn before Deathwing managed to escape Deepholm.
Total lore break, promise break. Just overall irritated with this.

One day the collective community will come together and agree never to use this excuse, realizing that Blizzard, as a development company, is interested in providing compelling gameplay and lore to those on both sides of the aisle. All will exclaim that this is only possible through the evolution of this game world! All will see that the struggle between Horde and Alliance, in the grand history of Warcraft, is tit for tat. That day will be good. A blue bird will rest on my shoulder (though it'll favor Horde). |
