So I was hacked today and I just wanted to say in the 9+ years in this game I have never had this happen before. I feel so violated I was heartbroken I got my account back but it appears that my main DH was transferred and name changed. I now sit and wait to see all what was taken from my chara and I hope all of her gold and items are intact. Merry xmas YAY :(

To keep your system secure. To keep your email secure. To keep your account secure. If you have a keylogger and/or your email is compromised, may be a lot more at stake than your WoW account. We do everything we can to help someone recover from this, but it is vital that the systems involved be secured - or it WILL happen again. |
