PTR Realm Maintenance - 6/27/13

Greetings All! The PTR realms are currently down for maintenance. I'll be updating this thread with time estimates and updates as I receive them.

We are not adding or unlocking any new content with this next build, only bug fixes and code changes.

Initial time estimate is 4 to 7 hours of downtime from this posting.

I'll leave this thread open for casual discussion, please keep the conversation respectful, constructive, and somewhat game-related.

Arenas are still currently down. We'll make a notification when they're back up.

Be calm they need to fix this so we can TEST the new stuff.

Yeah this is just one of my responsibilities. Mostly I'm in charge of tracking and logging what bugs are affecting the most players. I use a lot of different tools to determine that, the forums are just one side of that.

Hey Sapp, are you Blizzard's bad news guy? I remember all the times you had to tell everyone in the mists beta the servers were down to try and fix that one quest in the Jade Forest... honor of the ancients or something like that... there was a massive line that formed to finish it

Ohhhh I remember that quest. The problems with that quest are one of the main reasons we do PTR's and Beta's, some bugs are just harder to track down until a big group of players hits something at the same time.
I don't think I'm the bad news guy, most times I'm just the PTR/Beta news guy, and sometimes the news isn't the best. Rest assured we do know a lot of you are itching to get back into the Arena on the PTR.
