PTR Realm Maintenance - 5/13/13

Greetings All! The PTR Realms will be coming down for maintenance at 3:15pm PDT. I'll be updating this thread with information and time estimates as I receive them.

Initial time estimate is 4-6 hours from the start of the downtime.

As usual I keep this thread open for casual discussion, please keep it constructive, respectful, and somewhat game-related.

I get that it's a whole technology thing and that it's actually very unreliable when you need it...Why does it always have to be 4-6 hours?!

It's a long process involving a lot of different teams. We each have our responsibilities and individual signoffs. I base my estimates off where in the process we are. My team is involved in some of the final checks so the hours are pretty hazy until I'm completing my responsibilities. After my signoff it's usually 30-60 minutes to Live.

Is there a new build or just regular maintenance?

New build.

A little less than an hour from this post and they should be back online.

Should be up soon, 15-20 minutes, possibly longer.
