ArenaMonster Opens
ArenaMonster is excited to invite you, the community, to participate in our next tournament, ArenaMonster Opens. Sign-ups will be available to any team regardless of cr and exp (though it is recommended that teams have +2400cr). In this tournament teams will be picked based around creating the most enjoyable tournament to watch and play in, this means that we’ll be picking teams based on comp, exp, and exp relative to other teams who signed up. (Example: The majority of the teams that sign up are 2400cr and only two 2700 teams sign up, the 2700 teams will likely not get in, this is to ensure match quality and spirit of competition).
When: May 17 - 5pm pst
Who: 8 Teams, best of 5, single elim
Open sign-ups
Registration ends May 15 at 12noon PST
PRIZES
The first place team will receive 3 months of WoW game time (1mo/per person) and a BETA Key for Heros of the Storm
RULES
The following is not allowed:
-Class stacking
-Double healer teams
-More than one tank spec
-PvE trinkets/gear
Additional rules:
-Up to 5 players per team
-Only one substitute (class, player, or toon) per series
-Disconnects that occur in the first 45 seconds will be replayed
-First match will always be Nagrand, followed by loser’s choice
-If your team is more than 5 minutes late or needs more than 5 minutes between matches they will be disqualified and we will move on to the next series.
FORMAT
8 teams will compete in a single elimination, best of 5 matchup. Teams will be seeded to ensure quality matches in the spirit of fair competition. The ladder can be found here once teams are set -
REGISTRATION
To register a team click the link below. Please only register if you have a completed team. To change your team roster before the tournament starts you must contact an admin. You will be unable to change your team after Friday, May 15 as this is when teams and brackets will be finalized. If your team does not make it into the final bracket you may request to be kept on as a back-up team (many times teams drop out last minute).
